Information in the press about the base of drones deployed in Finland near the borders of Russia to collect intelligence data needs to be verified. Such a base is an element of the military infrastructure that Helsinki pledged not to host, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told VGTRK reporter Pavel Zarubin.

"We need to check," the Kremlin spokesman said.
"If you remember the statements < When they joined NATO, they said that Finland would not host any elements of military infrastructure near our borders. These are nothing but elements of military infrastructure," Peskov said.
