Donald Trump's children, unlike his first term, will not hold positions in the White House. This was stated by the Republican who won the US elections, according to People with reference to Fox News.

77-year-old Trump said this on Monday, on the eve of the election. He referred to the experience of the last presidency, noting that his family had been through hell.

"It's too painful for the family. My family has been through hell. Eric, my son, is a wonderful boy… No one has been through what my family has been through. Ivanka had a really successful clothing line. I mean, make a fortune. When I did that, she really was—she shut it down," Trump said.

Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner held senior positions in the White House during his first term of office from January 2017 to January 2021.
