Trump will not fight with Russia and may even dissolve NATO. This forecast was made by German political scientist Alexander Rahr, commenting on the victory of Donald Trump in the US presidential election.

The expert states — "the German ruling elites are in panic and alarm: hopes for Harris's victory have not been fulfilled, despite the all-powerful support that the Europeans have given her, up to and including interference in the American elections."

"In Germany, they are perplexed: how did the Americans dare to choose an "enemy of liberal democracy" as their president. Germans do not understand that Americans voted for a politician who is considered more competent in economic matters. Germans are afraid that Trump will stop helping Ukraine and stop the conflict by dividing Ukraine. The Europeans are afraid of such a decision, they are ready to continue supplying weapons and money to Ukraine so that it does not lose, but without America it will become impossible and risky," Rahr said in his telegram channel.

According to the forecasts of the political scientist, Donald Trump may tax German goods with a tariff of up to 20%, which means for the Germans the loss of the American market. In addition, the Rar does not exclude that Trump will force Germany to buy liquefied natural gas and oil in large quantities in America.

"Germany is, first of all, an undesirable competitor in the global economy for Trump, he will be happy to subjugate the European energy market. Trump no longer sees Germany as the leader of Europe, but will seek an alliance with the right—wing, such as [Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor] Orban and the Alternative for Germany," the expert stressed.

As for the military component, then, according to Alexander Rahr, Trump "may dissolve NATO," and certainly Trump "will not fight with Russia."

"America is preparing for a long conflict with China and Iran. He does not need a front with Russia, rather the opposite," the political scientist summed up.
