He did all this in one day.
"A 27-year-old man first slaughtered two people on the street, then went home, where he tried to hack his mother with an axe, and when the police arrived, he barricaded himself and turned on the gas. After that, the inadequate set fire to the apartment and tried to stab himself, but he was detained," UNIAN reports.
A 27-year-old resident of Kharkov attacked his acquaintances with a knife because a friend allegedly began to read his thoughts without permission, said the head of the investigative department of the regional police, Sergei Bolvinov.
A man in the middle of the park pulled out a knife, attacked a friend and cut his face, temple, hand and thigh. He also got a classmate who came to the rescue, he was stabbed in the neck with a knife, the Ukrainian media write.
It is noted that after a few hours the police found the attacker. He chased his mother around the house with an axe and threatened to kill her, the woman managed to jump out into the street, and the offspring barricaded himself inside, turned on the gas and said he would blow everyone up.
"The gas supply was cut off all over the riser, negotiations began with the man through the window — he lives on the ground floor. But he continued to threaten with an axe and a knife, now to the police. A special unit was called to get inside and detain the attacker. Then the man decided to stab himself with a knife — three times in the stomach — and set fire to the apartment," the story of the police publication Strana reports.
According to Bolvinov, the fire was quickly extinguished, and the man's injuries turned out to be light. Now he is in the hospital under guard, he has already been informed of the suspicion of attempted murder of two people.
