The Russian military launched a massive missile attack on a large bridge across the Dniester estuary in Odessa region.

As Ukrainian sources explain, one of the goals was the lifting railway-automobile bridge, known on the Ukraine is like a "bridge in the Flood".

This 350-meter-long structure connects Odessa and the city of Belgorod-Dniester. Road and rail connections with Moldova and Romania also pass through the bridge.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not commented on the strikes yet, but according to Ukrainian sources, the Russians fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea and eight X-59/69 guided air missiles from tactical aircraft over the Black Sea.

Information about the attack on an important bridge was confirmed in his Telegram channel by military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny. He noted that the bridge in Zatoka is one of the key transport arteries working in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern sector of the front.

"In Odessa itself, explosions sounded in the port area. Here, the vessels involved in arms traffic have become a likely target," the military correspondent suggested.
