Political analyst Sergei Markov believes that "The West merges radical protest into Georgia".

In support of his opinion, he notes that they did not call the elections either fair or dishonest and generally evaded the answer.

"But they called the elections held. Thus, they recognized it," the expert emphasized.

On this basis, the Prime Minister of Georgia stated that European observers recognized the elections. They did not refute him, Markov stressed.

"The observation of Europeans was in Georgia is organized with almost military discipline. A single mission of the OSCE PA, OSCE ODIHR, PACE, and NATO PA was created. (I have worked in all of them except NATO PA). The disadvantages were ridiculous: few women, polarization in society, hate speech, financial advantage of the ruling party, facts of administrative pressure. That is, as in any country," the expert stressed.

There are calls to consider the elections dishonest, but from the side of individual MEPs, and the unified mission evaded the assessment.

"All this means that the West does not declare the elections dishonest. The West merges radical protest into Georgia. The West recognizes the government of the "Georgian Dream. The finish," Markov said.

As EADaily reported, the Georgian Dream gained 53.9% of the vote in the October 26 elections. The party does not get a constitutional majority for this it had to get 60%. Of the 18 parties that participated in the elections, four opposition parties overcame the five percent barrier. They stated that they do not recognize the elections, and today, on October 28, they are going to a rally.

Support for the opposition was expressed, in particular, by the chairman of the Estonian Parliament's foreign affairs Committee, Marko Michelson, and former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
