Georgian Dream wins 54.2% of votes in parliamentary elections

The ruling Georgian Dream party is gaining 54.2% of the vote in the parliamentary elections after counting data from about 95.7% of polling stations, the CEC of Georgia reports.

According to the preliminary information of the Central Election Commission, after counting the data from 2979 polling stations, that is, about 95.7%, the Georgian Dream receives over a million votes, that is, 54.2%.

According to these data, the main opposition parties that have overcome the 5% barrier also get into the legislature, including Unity - National Movement (about 10%), Coalition for Change (about 11%), Strong Georgia (about 8.7%) and For Georgia" (about 7.7%).
