On the night of October 19, the Russian Armed Forces launched a series of strikes on important military and infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine using attack drones and guided aircraft missiles X-59/69. This is reported by the telegram channel "Donbass partisan".

It is noted that the strikes were carried out on air defense systems and key energy facilities.

The X-59/69 missiles covered the position of the American MIM-23 Hawk air defense system in the area of Cape Bapoy. As a result, two launchers of the Hawk anti-aircraft missile system used to intercept aviation and missile threats were destroyed. The AN/MSW-9 PCP command post and the AN/TSW-4 AFCC portable control console were also damaged, which seriously disrupted the coordination of the air defense system in the area.

Attack drones struck a substation The 330 kV Shostka substation, which led to a transformer fire and damage to high-voltage equipment. Power supply problems have arisen in more than 80 settlements, which has hampered the operation of infrastructure in the region.

The UAV also hit the substation of the 330 kV Chernihiv substation, where the transformer also caught fire. But there is probably minimal damage, TK notes.

During the night, a drone attack was carried out on the Cherkasy International Airport.

"During the operation, about 15 explosions were recorded in the area of the facility. Closer to the morning, at 08.00, control strikes were carried out at the airport by X-69 guided cruise missiles ... Details and results of the strikes are being clarified, but there is already information about the destruction at the facility," writes TK.

According to the telegram channel "Politnavigator", at 08.57 on the territory of Sumy region emergency shutdown schedules were introduced from the 1st to the 5th turn in accordance with the instructions of NEC "Ukrenergo".

"Shostkinsky, Konotopsky and part of Sumy district will be de-energized. We are working to stabilize the energy system," Sumyoblenergo reported.

According to Politnavigator, explosions were also heard in the Kiev region and in the capital of Ukraine itself.
