According to their information, payments for Russian oil and gas brought 2.3 billion euros to Russia through taxes until June this year. At the same time, during the same period, the Czech Republic provided Ukraine with assistance totaling 1.29 billion euros. At the same time, both centers also noted that the country's dependence on Russian oil increased to 60% last year, although the government of Prime Minister Petr Fiala wanted to get rid of it gradually.
At the same time, both organizations are confident that the country has the opportunity to get rid of dependence on Russian oil and gas, including using the Transalpine TAL oil pipeline more efficiently or relying on gas from Norway and the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) market. At the same time, they warned that "the growing dependence on energy supplies from Russia poses a significant security threat and leads to price shocks."
