The Ministry of Internal Affairs has put on the wanted list blogger Sergei Kosenko, who got into a scandal with a video recording of his 2-month-old son being thrown into a snowdrift. This is evidenced by the data of the department's database.
The card says that Kosenko is wanted under a criminal article. According to which article the search began, the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not indicate.
According to TASS, Kosenko is charged with non-fulfillment of duties to raise a child (Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and attempted intentional infliction of serious harm to health (part 3 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the charges, the blogger faces up to 10 years in prison.
"While shooting video content for his social networks, in order to cause serious harm to the health of his two-month-old son, he threw the child away from himself and upwards, allowing his subsequent fall from a height of at least two meters. The child fell into a snowdrift, which made it possible to avoid serious injuries, that is, the criminal intent was not completed due to circumstances beyond Kosenko's control," explained the agency's interlocutor in law enforcement agencies.
It is also clarified that all bank accounts of the blogger are blocked as part of interim measures at the request of the investigator. The total amount on 43 accounts in various Russian banks is more than 206 million rubles.
Sergey Kosenko is a marathon runner and entrepreneur. He sold franchises, invested in ventures, did giveaways with Russian stars. Now he sells marathons "about money, dreams, popularity and thinking", about earning money on cryptocurrency and real estate in Dubai.
As EADaily reported, in January of this year Kosenko posted a video on his social media page in which he throws his son high, he flies into a deep snowdrift. The video drew the attention of the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Nina Ostanina (CPRF), warning that she would turn to the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin about this.
Kosenko first wrote that Leo — his son — really likes the snow, and after the flight he is already asleep. Later, the blogger made excuses that it was a doll.
