Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed to check media reports about the abductions of elderly people in several regions of Russia to use them as labor.

"The head of the department instructed the heads of investigative departments The Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan to Belyaev D. V. and for the Republic of Adygea to Larin V. A. to organize checks on the facts voiced on the air," the statement on the website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said on October 3.
