The party opposed to anti-Russian sanctions is leading in the elections in Austria

The Austrian Freedom Party, which opposes anti-Russian sanctions, is tentatively leading in the Austrian parliamentary elections with 29.1% of the vote. This forecast was published by the ORF public television channel after the closing of the election precincts, TASS reports.

In second place with 26.2% of the vote is the Austrian People's Party, which is part of the current government of the republic together with the Greens. The third place belongs to the Social Democratic Party of Austria with 20.4%.

The forecast is based on the counting of about a third of the votes, the error may be 2 percentage points.
