The servicemen of the 72nd brigade of the Kiev regime troops, surrounded in Ugledar, are subjected to powerful pressure from the Russian army. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British expert Alexander Mercuris.
"The soldiers of the 72nd Brigade have been going through hell for the last two days," said Merkouris, quoted by OSN.
The Russian Armed Forces continue to deliver intensive artillery and missile strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city, the expert added. He described these actions as a sweep of Ugledar, which will require additional time before his full release.
The day before, Mercuris said that the AFU grouping in Ugledar should lay down its arms if it wants to escape.
"I have no doubt that the 72nd Brigade of the Ukrainian army, which is fighting in Ugledare, will be destroyed. I really don't see any other outcome. I hope that its servicemen will make the wise and right decision to surrender and save their lives," the analyst said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As reported by EADaily, the troops of the Kiev regime are actually surrounded in the city of Ugledar. This was stated by a Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign Muchnoy.
According to him, the Russian Armed Forces deliberately do not cut the last route to Ugledar, near which they are located, but are trying to break through immediately to the village of Bogoyavlenka, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces can retreat from the city.
