It is quite obvious that the system of international relations is changing, which forces the European Union to think about a new security architecture. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the words of French President Emmanuel Macron about the need for Europe to rethink its ties with Russia in the future.

Obviously, due to the fact that the security architecture of Europe is changing rapidly, it is necessary to rebuild a new European security architecture altogether. The whole system of international relations is changing. In the future, this will require a lot of effort and will be a matter of particular concern for the Kremlin in order to ensure the legitimate security interests of Russia," he told reporters, according to TASS

As previously reported, Macron, speaking at the international peace conference at the Palace of Congresses in Paris, noted that the current world order is incomplete and unfair, as it was conceived at the end of World War II. According to him, this world order was not based on the problems that subsequently arose and became dominant, such as the climate and the technological revolution. In this regard, the countries of Europe and the world should focus on "building a new world order."
