The Supreme Court of Russia refused to consider the complaint of the leader of the Time Machine group, which he was trying to get rid of the status of a foreign agent. This is stated in the case file on the official portal of the instance.
"It was refused to transfer the complaint or the prosecutor's submission for consideration at a court hearing," the decision says.
According to the documents of the Zamoskvoretsky court, in which Makarevich* also tried to remove his foreign agent status, in his complaint against the decision of the Ministry of Justice, the musician indicated that his rights were violated thereby.
Assigning him the status of a foreign agent is "discriminatory, entailed interference with his rights and freedoms of expression, detracts from his dignity." He also disputed the conclusion that he "conducts political activities in the interests of foreign sources or under their influence."
As reported by EADaily, earlier Makarevich * repeatedly spoke rudely about the Russians. He spoke about the flight of Maxim Galkin *, Alla Pugacheva and Zemfira * as if they were Russia, which had left the country. He explained his emigration by the fact that in Russia has "nothing to breathe." He also said that Russians have an "extremely blurred" sense of the country. "They are used to shitting" and "not caring about cleanliness", "this people can no longer be saved" — this is all about former compatriots too.
