Germany will provide assistance to Kiev, including military assistance, as long as the conflict continues. This was stated at the pre-election event of the Green Party in In Potsdam, the country's Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok, DPA news agency reports.
"Because otherwise it will be the end of Ukraine. If we do not support Ukraine at this time, then Ukraine will come to an end, and we will not allow that," Berbok said, quoted by TASS.
As reported by EADaily, Germany will not supply Kiev with missiles capable of reaching Moscow. This was stated by Chancellor Olaf Scholz at a meeting with citizens in the community of Niedergersdorf, federal state of Brandenburg.
He was referring to Taurus cruise missiles with a range of about 500 km.
"Although many are putting pressure on me, I will not supply cruise missiles that are capable of reaching Moscow," said Scholz, quoted by NTV.
