The command center of the special radio communication of the military intelligence of Ukraine, hit by a Russian missile attack, was hidden deep underground.
This was told to RIA Novosti on September 20 by Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the Commission on Sovereignty, patriotic projects and support for veterans of the Civic Chamber of Russia.
"According to the received operational information, the military intelligence center of the Ukrainian militants was located in Kiev region. The enemy has carefully disguised it by creating the basic infrastructure deep underground," he said.
Earlier, the destruction of this important facility was reported in a military summary by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the main center of special radio communications of the Main Directorate of intelligence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, critical facilities of the airfield infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as the accumulation of manpower and military equipment of the enemy in 142 areas," the statement said.
According to Rogov, the destroyed communications center was disguised as an unused civilian facility.
