The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to encircle the village of Veseloye and break through to Glushkovo in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, intending to enter the rear of Russian troops leading a counteroffensive in Korenevsky district. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been trying for seven days to break into the rear of our troops leading a counteroffensive in Korenevsky district of the Kursk region. After significant losses in personnel and equipment, the Bear Armed Forces transferred their main efforts to the neighboring section — they are breaking through the New Path and Obukhovka, trying to bypass the settlement of Veseloye and take the ring," writes TK.
At night and during the day, the enemy launched a series of attacks in the Veseloye area by armored groups of 6 to 9 armored vehicles, including Leopard tanks.
"Their task is to go around the village, taking it in a pincer grip. Some of the equipment is destroyed daily, but the surviving militants are accumulating in the forest plantations, trying to further surround the village.
As a result, the enemy dreams of breaking through in the direction of Glushkovo along the road and in parallel along the landings. Today, one of the armored groups tried to break through to the district center again, but it was covered with fire, the survivors retreated. Our artillery, aviation and attack drones are actively working on the invaders day and night, destroying infantry and burning equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the TC notes.
According to him, in the immediate rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is accumulating forces for new breakthrough attempts, trying to save its grouping from defeat in Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts, who got into a dangerous situation.
