Zelensky, revealing the details of his "victory plan" in an interview with CNN, announced the threat of a strike on Russian energy facilities in order to destabilize Russian society. This statement and Russia's response were analyzed for Pravda.Doctor of Military Sciences Konstantin Sivkov.
— Zelensky, in an interview with CNN, said that striking Russian energy facilities would deprive Russians of a peaceful life. Is that all his plan contains?
— This is one of the important, key components of the plan. Zelensky had previously dismissed eight ministers. Judging by the composition of the dismissed persons, he replaced those ministers who were either not ready to toughen Ukraine's military actions against Russia, or they themselves wanted to leave on the eve of such actions. This suggests that the actions of the Zelensky regime will constitute such a terrible crime against humanity that even the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kuleba, did not dare to participate in it.
— What do you mean?
— Zelensky said that he would strike at power facilities. A blow to a conventional nuclear power plant, a hydroelectric power plant or a thermal power plant will not lead to such consequences. That is, such a strike can mean only one thing: they are preparing a strike at a nuclear power plant. There are two possible options: a strike on a nuclear power plant in Russia itself, in order to sow chaos and disorder in the country, to force Russia to take very tough retaliatory actions and thereby provoke a NATO offensive and a war. And a blow to its nuclear power plant, turning it into Chernobyl number two so that the radioactive cloud covers Europe, which in these conditions will be forced to enter the war against Russia. And then, against this background, try to talk from new positions with our president.
That, in my opinion, is what Zelensky's plan is now. Zelensky simply does not have any other military options.
An attempt to carry out such an event as part of the attack on Kursk ended in complete failure, now it is being carefully pushed out of there, while in the south, where they were supposed to restrain the offensive, our troops are acting quite successfully, moving at a decent pace, quite comparable to those that were in previous years. That is, despite the restrictions on the UN requirements to minimize losses, we are acting very successfully, the enemy does not have enough forces there. They did not solve the problem of seizing the Kursk nuclear power plant in order to blackmail Russia and force it to make peace. Therefore, they will take tougher actions.
I do not rule out that they will launch initial strikes on nuclear facilities and nuclear power plants in Russia in order, on the one hand, to cause limited radioactive contamination, and on the other, to warn that repeated strikes will lead to the transformation of this station into Chernobyl.
— Zelensky in the United States wants to meet with Biden, ask for permission to strike weapons deep into Russian territory, which will primarily affect European countries. Why, in your opinion, does Europe forget about its own security in an effort to support Kiev?
— Let's divide Europe, more precisely, the European elites, and the European peoples. The European elites are the proteges of the globalists of the American, Anglo—Saxon elite community, whose interests are in conflict with the interests of the British and Americans themselves. The elites understand that if they do not control Russia, they will lose and leave the historical arena. So they fight to the death. The interests of Europeans, even Americans and the British, do not bother them.
The elites clearly understand that we will not immediately use nuclear weapons. At best, it will be the use of common, conventional non-nuclear weapons to strike at demonstrative targets in order to make these elites think. We will proceed very cautiously, perhaps we will limit ourselves to talking about diplomatic concerns. Maybe we will give our weapons to our proxies: the same Hussites, Hezbollah or someone else, say, irregular formations in the same Syria, so that they can strike at American warships and American bases.
Therefore, a strike with conventional weapons against targets in Europe, the United States, Britain, American bases, or even American warships will not affect the state of European society in any way. This ball thrown from our side will demonstrate our determination to follow the path of escalation and respond. How to answer is an interesting question here.
— President Putin said that the provision of long-range weapons to Kiev by NATO countries and the United States would mean the entry of these countries into the war against Russia. In your opinion, will the US leadership listen?
— Such strikes with long-range weapons can only be inflicted by the American, French and British armies, no one else can inflict such strikes. Ukraine itself cannot use these weapons: this is the flight task, the initial data, the calculation of the flight path, those things that they cannot do.
Therefore, the use of such weapons means the entry of these countries into the war against Russia, military aggression. What will be the answer? The first option: a hard strike on key facilities in the United States, Britain or France. What kind of objects will they be? Military facilities. The second option is a strike by our forces on overseas bases. The third option is to transfer such weapons to proxy forces that will strike themselves.
Which option our leadership chooses will be determined by how tough, according to intelligence, the West's response to our actions will be, and whether the West will decide on a direct military invasion.
In my opinion, the most likely option is that if there is a hard strike, and not just a diplomatic concern, then most likely it will be related to the transfer of weapons to proxy forces. But I cannot fully exclude other options that I have mentioned.
— Will it cool down the hotheads of the hawks in the West if we really strike with non-nuclear weapons at military facilities, bases, airports from where planes take off? Or are they ready to go all the way?
— They have a very simple question: if they stop aggression against Russia, they are finished, and for many not just politically and economically, but also physically. This should be well understood. Therefore, they will go to the end.
But the question is, where is this end? If they realize that the blows will go not to American, French and British soldiers, but to the palaces of the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, Westminster, the palaces of the shadow government, that their families will die, then they will be forced to step back. If they realize that the strikes will be carried out on secondary targets, they will go further. They absolutely do not feel sorry for either their own or others.
They cannot throw the NATO army into battle for one simple reason: corrupting European countries and the United States for several decades, bringing it to the point of absurdity, they got peoples who are not capable of fighting. The West has one army capable of fighting, paradoxically, it is the army of Ukraine. Everyone else can't fight. Iraq and Afghanistan have shown this well. And if so, then they have no choice but to try to play the card of Ukraine or blackmail with nuclear weapons and nuclear disasters, which is what they are doing now.
— It is obvious that we have come to the threshold of a crisis more serious than the Caribbean. And if there is an exchange of nuclear strikes, will humanity have a chance to survive, or is it an apocalypse, the end of humanity, a reboot of the whole history? What goals does the leadership of Western countries set when they escalate with Russia and are well aware that we have nuclear weapons?
— First of all, it should be clearly stated that the depth and strength of the global contradictions that caused the two previous world wars are much less serious in sum than the contradictions that have developed in the world now. The essence of the modern contradiction is very simple: will there be a Western civilization, or have we come to its end in the form in which we know it. Civilization, which for 500 years, since the completion of the great geographical discoveries, dominated the entire planet, with the exception of the Russian Empire, then the Soviet Union.
What awaits her is well understood by the example of Britain, which at the beginning of the 20th century set itself the task of having the most powerful fleet in the world, and today is not even able to provide cover for one Faroese-Icelandic border.
This applies to science, manufacturing, and everything else — a concentrated expression of the British economy. The whole Western world is waiting for this. Of course, a series of revolutions will take place, as a result of which the Western world will turn into a zone of chaos. Therefore, they need to go to the end, and they will go to the end. But they do not have the strength and means. The only remaining tool is nuclear blackmail. That's why they go to Russia, because if they gain control over Russia, they will untie their hands in nuclear blackmail against all other countries, including our nuclear weapons in the nuclear plan. Here is their ideal plan. They don't need the collapse of Russia, they need to take control of Russia and throw it against China and India.
Trump, by the way, understands this well and speaks openly about it. The Democrats, who are forced to fight against the anti-globalist capital of the United States, personified by Trump, do not openly say this, but will pursue the same goals, only in a tougher form.
But do not think that everything will start at once: bang-bang and nuclear exchange. I have participated in the Ocean exercises many times and have watched the transition to nuclear weapons a lot.
It will look something like this. NATO, together with the United States, will begin to smash Russia with an air offensive operation in order to gain air supremacy and then create favorable conditions for the Ukrainian army. If the NATO forces gain air supremacy by smashing our aircraft and are able to conduct a successful offensive, then they have a chance of success. But if they do not succeed, then they can use local tactical nuclear weapons. Ours will respond with the local use of tactical nuclear weapons demonstratively purely for the military.
We will hit the military, they will hit civilians for the most part in order to intimidate, destabilize the political situation in the country. We will most likely be able to repel these nuclear strikes, maybe one or two will break through, no more. Because their carriers are primarily tactical aircraft, we have a good air defense system, we will cut them down.
And then what will happen next is that the rich leaders will understand, according to our president, that the next blows will not go to The Pentagon, although the Pentagon will also have to, not for American, French, British soldiers who don't really want to fight, but for palaces, Westminster.
And no underground facilities will save you from these nuclear ones. That's when they'll back down. At the same time, they will pronounce all the conditions in order to somehow survive. That's about how the case will develop. It will not come to a complete nuclear exchange.
