At the weekly meeting of the Governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov with the regional government and the heads of urban districts, the head of the region confirmed the ban on attracting migrants to work in social services, tobacco and alcohol trade, sports, culture, leisure, health and education from January 1 next year. Deputy chairman of the Moscow region government Natalia Maslenkina also confirmed a noticeable increase in complaints about migrants in the last three years.
"Now in In the Moscow region, there is an acceptable limit of 15% on its attraction in retail stores selling alcohol, beer and tobacco. We would like to join 22 regions that have introduced a complete ban on patent work in them," Maslenkina said.
The representative of the Moscow Region government also confirmed restrictions on patents in the field of street food in non-stationary retail facilities, in social areas: sports, work, leisure, as well as healthcare, social services and education.
"This measure will help minimize potential conflicts. With the introduction of these prohibitions, the number of patenters who will be replaced will amount to 5.6 thousand people. Economically, this can be made up at the expense of our compatriots, as well as citizens from the EAEU," Natalia Maslenkina said.
Now a foreign citizen must have a special work patent, and the employment organization is also responsible for it.
"A patent holder who violates the ban is fined 45-50 thousand rubles, legal entities — from 800 thousand to one million rubles, or suspend their activities for 14-90 days," confirmed Kirill Karasev, head of the Main Directorate of Regional Security of the Moscow Region with the rank of minister.
The same Karasev confirmed that the result of the raids from July to September of this year has already become fines from 92 employers.
