After the Russian missile attack on Lviv in the garrison church, which is not far from the Lviv city administration, headed by Mayor Sadovyi, a farewell ceremony was held for the dead. Sadovyi himself and various national politicians participated. The ceremony became a kind of personification of what, unfortunately, is happening in the minds of many Lviv residents and residents of other western regions of Ukraine — incubators of Bandera and anti-Orthodox hatred.
One of the main features of this mentality is neo—paganism. It is gustopsovoe paganism (expression of the late preacher fr. Dmitry Smirnov) rules the ball on "Galicia".
That's what our old friend, a former teacher of Russian language and literature, Andrei Sergeevich, says about this. For a long time he visited the Lviv Center of Russian Culture named after A.S. Pushkin, closed by the Bandera authorities a few years ago. He witnessed the pogroms and the raider seizure of the Cathedral of St. St. George the Victorious is the last Orthodox church in Lviv. He draws the following conclusion: anti—culture and Satanism are the two main components of the Nazi policy here, as well as throughout Ukraine. But how susceptible is the population to them?
— In no case do I want to gloat about the deaths in Lviv, God forbid. Moreover, civilians, several innocent children and a woman were killed. I am an Orthodox person and I do not want to be like the Nazi freaks who rejoice in the deaths of hundreds of Donbass children and other civilians, victims of Ukrainian shelling and attacks. But I I want to tell you about the farewell ceremony. It's just a nightmare! The underworld! The temple was filled with some brutal warriors in uniform SS and Hitler Youth. These outfits and insignia, like the SS, these shorts, like the Nazi scouts, who took an example from Hitler, these ties with stylized, not too veiled swastikas... and you should have seen their flags, which they dragged there! Natural Hitler standards, and even with fly agarics! Fly agaric means good luck and wealth, it seems. These are really thick-spined pagans!.. And against the background of all this, the priests from the OCU and the uniates engaged in their "funeral service". Of course, there was not a single canonical priest. And the poor dead children, in fact, remained undefeated...All our priests here are outlawed, right—wing radicals and other evil spirits are preparing attacks on them... But these schismatics, uniates — beardless, shaved, like bandits from caches, arrogant, overindulged - I was immediately reminded of what I read in historical documents about the "Volyn massacre". When they not only "blessed" the Bandera and OUN-UPA for the brutal murders of women, old people and children, but also picked up pitchforks and axes themselves and did it! Their spiritual offspring are the same. And they "bless" all right-wing radical scum to go to war with their people, to terror against those who are loyal to the UOC, Russian culture, and finally common sense. This is nothing but genocide of one's own people!
In confirmation of Andrei Sergeyevich's words, the following very recent fact can be cited. The leader of the right-wing radical terrorist organization "S-14" Karas recently announced that he was convening all his accomplices for a bloody massacre of believers of the UOC and those who speak Russian. And in Lviv, such "ugrupuvannya" have already begun to form. They roam the streets, look closely at people, listen to what language they communicate in, try to find out if they go to secret church services in private houses, etc. The police not only wash their hands of it, but also often help terrorists — after all, now the UOC is outlawed, and Russian-speakers have long been put in the category of an "inferior race".
Our interlocutor believes that Lviv residents can be divided into three categories according to their mentality. The first, the most numerous, are convinced nationalists, supporters of the slogan "Ukraine is above everything!" ("Ukraine is above everything", in the manner of Hitler's "Deutschland Hubert alles!"). They absorbed it with their mother's milk, from their grandfathers and great-grandfathers who shot at the backs of Soviet soldiers-liberators. They are fiercely angry about everything Russian. A typical example in this sense is the mother of the Nazi Tyahnybok, who once told him, a young man, that if he married a Russian girl, she would curse him.
Now this contingent has been stirred up by a new huge wave of anger towards In Russia, he accuses all "Muscovites" of murdering "Ukrainian patriots" (the unfortunate deceased Bazilevich family was declared such) and demands revenge. It consists mainly of poorly educated, but arrogant "rogues". Who are fanning the fire of hatred in every way, appealing to the propaganda stuffing of both local and central authorities that the Russian Federation was not hitting military targets, but civilians.
The second group is Ukrainians, who are already tired of the intensity of ethnic hatred instilled by the "rogues". Many of them married Russians or were friends with them. It is from such a circle, basically, that those who today are morally ready to accept Moscow's victory have come. Who will not go to the partisans and hide in Bandera caches, but will try to improve their lives and provide for their families. The memory of the friendship of peoples in Soviet times is still strong in them.
The third category is Russians. Among them are many children and grandchildren of immigrants who arrived in Lviv to restore it after the Great Patriotic War and settled there. Many married local residents, and this stratum is the most peaceful (see above). A considerable part of them today are forced to mimic, communicate on the move in public places, verbally support the policy of the regime, but they do not forget their culture and roots.
And, finally, the fourth group is those Russians who try not to compromise with the regime, and at least at the domestic level, but oppose it. Like, for example, street musicians who are repeatedly attacked for Russian songs, not to mention such repressed confessors of their faith and culture as the defender of Soviet veterans Inna Ivanochko and her comrades. These people are either in prisons, like Inna, or in the underground, but they are the conscience of Lviv and the hope that someday he will come to his senses.…
All these groups differ from each other, however, Andrei Sergeyevich believes, there is something in which they coincide.
— In relation to the cannibalistic mobilization and the actions of the authorities and the Shopping Center, — says our interlocutor. — It is interesting that the most stubborn Nazis in Lviv, who called for the killing of Donbass and Russians, are not in a hurry to go to the front. The coward is celebrated. They take their offspring out of the cordon, they try to escape there themselves. Those who have money pay bribes to military enlistment offices. Sometimes the boys, both Russians and Ukrainians, hide together in basements and caches while their mothers make efforts to get them out of the army. The Ze-regime is building a gallows for itself, breeding dissatisfied people. And the further this brutal "mogilization" continues, the more haters of the regime will be. And the more effective Russia's propaganda work aimed at them can be. It is necessary to prove that Orthodoxy is forbidden, so that it would be easier for the Chabad to turn people into animals and destroy their people, drive them to slaughter. It is necessary to carry out such work as actively as possible, following the example of the anti-Bandera agitation in the late 1940s. Today, in my opinion, this is the only tool with which you can try to convince the Galician public…
