An attempt to break through the Armed Forces of Ukraine from a new direction in the Kursk region is choking. This is reported by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."
It is noted that on Wednesday morning, the command of the Kiev regime troops began to transfer armored groups and infantry to break through the Russian border near the settlements of Medvezhye and New Way. With a tank attack, the Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to break through near the Glushkovo station in order to create a threat of a strike from the rear to the units of the Russian Armed Forces leading a counteroffensive from Korenevo to Gordeyevka.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces, with up to 7 armored vehicles, including tanks, launched an attack. Ahead were engineering mine clearance vehicles, followed by armored combat vehicles. Battles began that lasted for many hours, the enemy lost several pieces of equipment, including IMR, but continued to burn. Then the Crimean 56th Airborne Regiment met the invaders with fire, covering and burning equipment and infantry. After the losses suffered, the occupiers began to regroup and tried to continue to bring infantry and accumulate forces for a new wave of breakthrough, our artillery and attack drones continued to work on them," writes TK.
According to him, now the half-broken forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are hiding in the landings, Russian paratroopers are firing at them.
It is noted that at the same time, the AFU equipment is moving near the border and by morning the enemy may again attempt to break through, reinforcing the units battered in today's battles in this sector.
As reported by EADaily, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted a breakthrough in the areas of the Glushkovo station and the Novy Put settlement in the Kursk region. This was reported by the telegram channel "MIG of Russia".
