German care services refuse to hire Ukrainian refugees because bureaucratic rules do not allow them to be accepted. This is reported by the telegram channel "Bild in Russian"*.

It is noted that today in Germany there are 130 thousand vacancies for junior medical staff and nurses. However, Ukrainians are rarely accepted for these positions, although many of them are ready to work. According to the owner of the Seniocare24 care service, Renata Feri, every week she refuses to admit an average of three Ukrainians, since the bureaucratic rules of Germany do not allow them to be accepted.

"These people are already here and want to work, but it only becomes more difficult for them. Excessive demands encourage shadow employment," Feri said.

Today, according to her, there are about 500 thousand people in Germany, caring for those in need illegally. She claims that 90% of Seniocare24 clients eventually refuse to officially hire nurses and take them illegally bypassing the company.

According to the Tagesspiegel newspaper, after February 2022, 1,822 Ukrainians with medical education applied for professional recognition in Germany, and only 9% of them received permission to work in Germany, despite the shortage of personnel in this field.

"This is a scandal for our time of shortage of junior medical staff. The healthcare system is drowning in bureaucracy," Bundestag deputy Tino Sorge told Bild.

But there are also positive examples, in particular Bavaria. There is an accelerated system for recognizing the qualifications of employees. If on average in Germany the whole process takes up to two years, then in Bavaria it takes only five weeks.
