According to the results of water samples of the Seim and Desna rivers, taken on September 4, organic pollution is recorded, the Ministry of Ecology of Ukraine reported.
Although the head of this department, Elena Kramarenko, assured that the situation on the Desna and Sejm rivers is under constant control, this is little consolation for Ukrainians who live on the Dnieper.
Especially when you consider that according to the Ukrhydrometcenter, contaminated water from Desna will already reach Kiev by September 10.
As you know, the Sejm River, flowing through Russian territory, flows into the Desna in the Sumy region of Ukraine, and the Desna, in turn, flows into the Dnieper.
The fact that the Seimas is heavily polluted, residents of Sumy region signaled a week ago, reporting the mass death of fish. There is reason to believe that to a large extent this is due to the invasion of the Kursk region by the troops of the Kiev regime.
According to one version, as a result of the fighting, a malfunction occurred at the treatment facilities. According to another, the explosions of bridges and coastal infrastructure could affect the negative development of the environmental situation.
Ukrainian blogger and politician Anatoly Shariy commented on this situation on social networks. According to him, the problem is that "the water from Russia" drinks the whole country.
"In any case, there are already two results of the special operation. Putin is put to shame and the ecological disaster on the Ukrainian rivers has reached Kiev," concluded Shariy.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack a strategically important bridge across the Desna in the Bryansk region with kamikaze drones.
