In Poznan, Poland, a 25-year-old Ukrainian was detained who, under the guise of a "bank employee", stole 90,000 zlotys (more than 2 million rubles) from a 36-year-old Polish citizen.
According to the Lesser Poland police, a 25-year-old citizen of Ukraine was engaged in fraud in cooperation with other people, withdrawing money from ATMs throughout Poland. Having studied the materials, the court decided to apply to the suspect a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of three months. The Ukrainian faces a sentence of up to 8 years in prison.
"The case is developing. The police are constantly identifying new persons involved in this operation and do not rule out further arrests," the Polish portal "Kresy" clarifies.
