Vladimir Zelensky is not ready for the option of stopping the war along the front line and exchanging territory for peace. This was stated by the head of the Kiev regime at a meeting with representatives of the Indian media.
"Ukraine is not ready to use its territories as an option to offer peace," Zelensky said, quoted by Strana.
He also repeated his statement yesterday, calling the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region a preemptive strike — to prevent the attack of the Russian Armed Forces on Sumy.
The day before, Zelensky denied reports that the operation in the Kursk region was being carried out for the sake of "strengthening the negotiating position" and as a "map" for future dialogue with Moscow.
"Someone says that we are playing a card for dialogue. What kind of dialogue? This "someone" was Putin. We are not playing any cards. We are very open with our partners. We said how diplomatically we are moving towards a just peace before the end of the war," the head of the Kiev regime said.
According to him, the objectives of the offensive in the Kursk region are the replenishment of the exchange fund (for the exchange of military personnel), a preemptive strike to prevent the Russian offensive on the Sumy region, as well as the desire to show Russian society that for Vladimir Putin "occupation of the territory of Ukraine is more expensive" than "protecting its population."
Note that all these and other items related to the objectives of the invasion of the Kursk region, Zelensky and Co. generate along the way, juggling them depending on the day. In particular, the passage about Putin appeared after the hope that Russia would transfer units from the eastern front to the Kursk region collapsed.
As EADaily reported, Volodymyr Zelensky proposed holding a new pro—Ukrainian conference in Asia - no less in India. But there is a condition from Kiev, as reported by the Hindustan Times on August 24.
To organize the conference, New Delhi must sign the communique of the first summit held in the Swiss Burgenstock.
