The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are destroying the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which launched an offensive on the Russian border regions on August 6. The results of the fighting for today, August 14, are reported in the TC of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The active actions of the units of the North group of forces, army aviation strikes, unmanned aerial vehicles and artillery fire stopped attempts by enemy mobile groups on armored vehicles to break deep into Russian territory in the areas of Skrylevka, Levshinka, Semenovka, Alekseevsky, Kamyshny.
In the Martynovka area, two enemy groups on pickups were discovered and destroyed.
Six attacks of units of 115 mechanized, 80 and 82 airborne assault brigades in the direction of the settlements of Korenevo, Olgovka, Pogrebki, Russian Porechnoye and Cherkesskoye Porechnoye were repelled.
The identified concentrations of manpower and equipment of 22, 61 mechanized, 92 assault and 1 presidential brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Lokni, Kremyanoye, Oleshni, Sverdlikov and Darino were defeated.
Aviation struck the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Yunakovka, Sadki, Miropole, Khrapovshchina, Mogritsy and Krovnoye of Sumy region.
During the day, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 270 military personnel and 16 armored vehicles, including two tanks, a Stryker armored personnel carrier, 13 armored combat vehicles, as well as 10 vehicles and a 122 mm D-30 howitzer. 18 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were captured.
