The Kiev authorities are exporting equipment from industrial plants of the city of Zaporozhye occupied by them to the regions of Western Ukraine, chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on sovereignty issues, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the integration of new regions Vladimir Rogov told RIA Novosti.
"The Kiev authorities are removing equipment from the industrial plants of the city of Zaporozhye, temporarily occupied by Ukrainian militants," Rogov said.
According to him, the plants are transported to the regions of Western Ukraine controlled by the regime of Vladimir Zelensky.
"People are being offered to resign or move there forcibly, without any opportunities to settle in there normally and with the highest rental prices," Rogov said.
Zaporozhye region is a region of Russia located in the lower reaches of the Dnieper. It became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Kiev does not recognize its results and continues to shell the territory. Currently, more than 70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control. The rest, including the regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, is held by Ukrainian troops. Since March 2023, the administrative center of the region has temporarily become the city of Melitopol.
