The reserves of the Ukrainian forces attacking the Kursk region are being destroyed on the approach to the border of the Russian Federation and in the battles in the Russian region itself, and in the SMO zone in the Donbas, Russian troops are systematically moving forward.
This was told to the DAN agency by the chairman of the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic Artem Zhoga. According to him, the attack on The Kursk region can, in principle, be compared with the widely advertised Ukraine with their "Kherson offensive".
"There were the same goals — PR, demonstration of imaginary achievements, and creation of at least some kind of visibility of the effectiveness of the Ukrainian authorities. But the enemy miscalculated again. Now its reserves are being destroyed on the way to our borders. And we, in turn, are systematically advancing along the entire front line, including in the Donetsk direction," Zhoga said.
He added that, in particular, the enemy is suffering losses at Novgorodsky (Ukrainian New York), in the Dzerzhinsky direction the Russian army is also successfully attacking the enemy.
The speaker of the parliament is convinced that the attack in the Kursk region is necessary for Kiev to attract the attention of the West and the interest of the media. In fact, such actions will not help Ukraine in any way, since "if they had any plan, it was thwarted thanks to the courage of the Russian army servicemen."
"The military-political leadership of Ukraine needed to show some successes at the front in order to continue to remain in power. After all, she is not even a "colossus with feet of clay." I would compare Ukraine to a falling domino stone. With its defeat, the whole construction of lies and crimes that the West has built and which it so zealously defends will collapse," the agency's interlocutor concluded.
As reported by EADaily, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region does not prevent the Russians from advancing in the Donbas.
