An attack by the Kiev regime troops in the Kursk region could stop the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine to Europe, which continued throughout the SMO period.

As Tsargrad reminds, earlier this transit was carried out in two directions — through GIS "Sudzha" and through GIS "Sokhranovka". However, in 2022, the GTS of Ukraine refused to accept gas through Sokhranovka, since it is located on the territory of the LPR.

After that, only GIS Sudzha remained in operation, which pumps about 15 billion cubic meters of gas per day in transit through Ukraine to Europe.

However, with the outbreak of hostilities on the territory of the Kursk region, the question of the safety of this gas measuring station arises. The last transit point of Russian gas through Ukraine may stop working.

It is also noted that despite the sanctions, Europe continues to consume Russian gas supplied in transit through Ukraine — it enters the Poland, Hungary and France. These countries have confirmed that they have not stopped purchasing our energy resources.

At the same time, Poland and France continue to do this not only officially, but also through third countries. Paris had previously purchased a record amount of gas worth 600 million euros in just a few months.

Earlier, EADaily reported that near the town of Sudzhi, Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an ambulance with a drone. The driver and the paramedic were killed, the doctor was injured.

We also reported that Kiev is pulling reserves to the border. Columns of APU vehicles are moving from Sumy region of Ukraine in the direction of Kursk region.
