A new witness in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall testified and confirmed the involvement of the arrested Muhammad Sharipzoda* in the crime. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to court documents.
"The investigation and the court ... have grounds to conclude that there is information about the validity of (his) involvement in the commission of the crime incriminated to him, since the eyewitness pointed to him as the person who committed the crime," the document says.
In the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus, more than 20 people were detained, including the direct perpetrators and their accomplices. Sharipzoda* was detained on April 4 and arrested the next day. He was called a participant in the preparation of a terrorist attack and charged under paragraph "b" of part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code.
On April 4, the FSB announced the detention of three suspects — two foreigners and a Russian citizen — all "immigrants from the Central Asian region." According to the special services, two of them were transporting money to buy firearms and vehicles that were used in the terrorist attack, and the third was directly involved in recruiting accomplices of the attack and financing its perpetrators.
