The US authorities will not send funds to restore Ukraine, Washington has already done everything that could be learned from the conflict, political analyst Yevgeny Mikhailov believes.

"The main thing is that they have lowered the European Union in the economy, they have sharply raised energy prices there, reorienting to the consumption of their fuel. A lot of large European companies were pulled out to the American market, that is, they really lowered the economy," Channel Five quotes Mikhailov's opinion.

According to the expert, the end of the main line of assistance to Kiev from Washington is already being traced. And now the States are more concerned about their own presidential elections, as well as the threat of a large-scale conflict in the Middle East.

Mikhailov suggests that in an attempt to relieve Kiev of its financial obligations, it may default, and August and the beginning of autumn are a crucial period for them.

"They'll just say, 'We don't owe anyone anything.' The Americans will help them maybe somehow save face, but nothing more. Western funds are already presenting Zelensky for the territories in which they invested, but now they have already become Russian," the political scientist points out.

Political scientist Alexei Martynov notes that now the United States has enough of its own domestic political problems, and the "Ukrainian history" has already exhausted itself. At the same time, Washington is not going to bear reputational or any other responsibility, and probably plans to shift it to the same European Union.

"They did everything they wanted there. Moreover, the maximum costs were put on Europe. Despite the fact that these are not gratuitous expenses, but the money is refundable — credit. Some kind of weapon or some kind of financial resources," the expert believes.

Martynov emphasizes that for the sake of their own victory in the "planetary game", the United States did not disdain to involve Russia in a "difficult story".

"To distract or buy time in such a big planetary game. Thus, we gained some time and postponed the moment when the United States ceases to be the only world center," the political scientist explained.

In his opinion, the financing of Ukraine is already becoming a burden to the States, so they are already taking separate steps towards resolving the conflict.

"There is no benefit, but they have deprived themselves of opportunities. So they want to regain some of these opportunities. Through the return of direct dialogue, the lifting of sanctions, and so on," Martynov concluded.
