Turkey sent to Ukraine goods for a record amount

By the end of May 2024, Turkey shipped products to the Ukrainian market for a record amount since 2022. We are talking about a total of 312.3 million dollars, as reported by RIA Novosti today, July 5, with reference to mutual trade data.

Against this background, the official Ankara itself has been reducing imports from this country for the third month in a row.

Since the beginning of the year, it follows from the data of mutual trade, Turkish exports to Ukraine has grown 1.5 times, and in a month — by 21%. The total trade turnover of the two countries in May amounted to $ 504.5 million, which is again the highest since the beginning of 2024.

Turkey sent to Ukraine has transport (25% of total exports), ferrous metals and products made from them (11%), mineral fuels (10%). Grain (34%), as well as fats and oils (25%) were sent in the opposite direction.
