The Group of Seven (G7) will take further restrictive measures “should Russia’s actions so require," G7 foreign minister said in a joint statement issued following their talks in Toronto on Monday.

The statement urges Russia to implement the Minsk Agreements: “These sanctions can be rolled back only if Russia truly fulfills its commitments, but we also stand ready to take further restrictive measures should Russia’s actions so require."

As EADaily reported earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, following the fact-finding session of the G7 summit in Toronto, said that the G7 countries supported Ukraine's position on the peacekeepers introduction in the Donbass.

To recall, Moscow has repeatedly stated that it is not a party to the Minsk Agreements, as it is not a party to the conflict in Donbass.
