The chair of the Moldovan Parliament Andrian Candu is to administer oath of the new cabinet of ministers today, on January 10. The parliamentary speaker took office of the president under a decision of the Constitutional Court after the country’s president Igor Dodon refused twice to approve mandates of the new cabinet members nominated by the ruling Democratic Party.

While being in the president’s office, Andrian Candu will also promulgate a bill to amend the Broadcasting Code that was passed by the parliament on December 22, 2017. The bill suggests that broadcasting of Russian TV and radio news roundups to be banned in Moldova.
