Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief Haider Al-Abadi has announced Iraq’s war with the ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) is over. According of the Iraqi premier, the governmental troops took under control the border with Syria, which means that military actions against the ISIS in the Iraqi territory have come to an end, Al Arabiya channel reports.

At a news conference in Baghdad, Al-Abadi announced an end to the war with ISIS.

The Iraqi military command made a separate statement confirming defeat of the terrorist organization and end of the military stage.
