Final outcomes of elections in Armenia: four forces to get mandates

In accordance with the legislation, Armenia’s Central Election Commission has summed up the results of the parliamentary elections held on April 2.

According to the head of the Armenian Central Election Commission Tigran Mukuchyan, four of nine political forces and blocs will be represented in the National Assembly. The ruling Republican Party will have 58 mandates, three of them will be given to representatives of national minorities; Tsarukyan Bloc will have 31 seats, one of them will be given to a representative of the Russian Diaspora; the opposition Yelk bloc will have nine seats, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun will have seven mandates.

According to Mukushyan, none of the forces has received extra mandates. The total number of the voters who participated in the parliamentary elections was 1,575,786. Mukushyan said that overall there were 2,052 inaccuracies registered.
