Supreme Rada of Ukraine has allowed troops of foreign countries to participate in the multi-national military exercises in Ukraine. President Petro Poroshenko submitted a bill on it earlier. According to the bill, the expenses on the drills would not go beyond the defense budget of Ukraine for 2015.

As EADaily reported earlier, in November-December 2015, military exercises of the NATO countries and Ukraine’s Armed Forces will be held at Lviv region’s Yaroviv polygon. Up to 5,300 troops, including 2,800 Ukrainian troops, up to 1,500 U.S. and about 1,000 NATO troops will be involved in the drills. All the troops will participate in the exercises with their weapons and military hardware.  Earlier this summer, the Yaroviv polygon hosted Saber Guardian/Rapid Trident – 2015 Ukraine-U.S. drills.
