Although the ceasefire is generally observed and even a new stage of heavy artillery withdrawal from the engagement line was launched, the implementation of the political and legislative points of the Minsk Agreements is still hampered. Sergey Naryshkin, Chairman of the State Duma, made such statement at the meeting of the working group to analyze the legislative procedures and enactments passed in Ukraine.
EADaily reported earlier, on October 7, the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic informed representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of the Ceasefire about the end of the withdrawal of artillery weapons of up to 100mm caliber. Kiev has made no such reports despite the arrangements made.
