According to Gazprom’s CEO Alexey Miller, the target markets for Nord Stream II are Germany, France, Italy and the Baumgarten gas hub.

After a meeting with German Economy and Energy Minister Sigmar Gabriel, Miller said that from Baumgarten the gas might be supplied to Southeastern Europe.

“2/3 of the gas for Turkey will be supplied by Turkish Stream,” Miller said.

Earlier, he said that the capacities of Turkish Stream would be halved from 63bn c m to 32bn c m. On Sept 4, 2015, Gazprom, E.ON, BASF/Wintershall, OMV, Engie and Shell signed a contract on Nord Stream II, a project that is supposed to redouble the existing capacities to as much as 110bn c m or 30% of the EU’s needs. As a result, Europe and Turkey, in particular, will get additional 87bn c m.
