Signing an agreement on pull-out of weapons with the caliber of up to 100 mm from the contact line in Donbass actually means end of war in the region, DPR representative to the Contact Group on Ukraine Denis Pushilin has said today.
“Actually, I think, this can mean end of the war, as this will result in pull-out of weaponry for a needed distance. In fact, a buffer zone of 30 km (with each party withdrawing its weaponry for 15 km) is being established,” he is quoted as saying by Donetsk News Agency.
“Based on that, it would be difficult to exchange fire and it would we hard for the Ukrainian party to provoke our forces,” Pushilin said.
