Ukrainian state-run Oshchadbank has filed a claim against Russia. The bank want Russia to make up for losses worth about $750 mn “due to the annexation of Crimea by Russia,” Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced at a meeting of the government in Kiev today.
Yatsenyuk called other state-run companies to act the same way. “I also address all other state-run companies in Ukraine to follow the example of the Oshchadbank in order to make Russia responsible and pay for losses for illegal annexation of Crimea,” he said.
