Russia’s cooperation with the West will be continued, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the 19th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
He said that Russia’s active ties with new global growth centers did not mean decreased attention to the dialogue with its traditional Western partners.
“Russia is open for economic, scientific and humanitarian contacts. I am sure that this policy serves our common interests and will help us to continue trusting each other,” Putin said.
According to Putin, Russia will continue to develop, to enter new markets, to design modern technologies and to implement large-scale projects. “We seek to cooperate with all those willing to cooperate on the basis of equality and mutual respect, all those who are interested in new mutually beneficial projects,” the Russian president said.
