Russian President Vladimir Putin will probably pay a visit to Armenia in late April, the President's Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today, on March 19.

“In fact, the issue is on the agenda. It is being discussed. When the date is determined and confirmed, we will make it public,” he said.

EAD has previously reported that at the March 18 international media forum “At the Foothills of Mount Ararat”, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that Putin would probably arrive in Yerevan to attend the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide committed in the Ottoman Empire in 1915. The centennial events will be held in Yerevan on April 22-24. The presidents and prime ministers of dozens of countries are expected to attend the events.
