Ukraine has filed charges in absentia against Boris Korchevnikov, a Russian journalist, TV presenter, CEO and producer of the Spas TV channel. This was reported in the telegram channel of the country's Security Service.
The TV presenter was charged under three criminal articles: encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine; support for a special military operation of Russia; illegal crossing of the state border.
"It has been documented how the attacker repeatedly crossed the border of Ukraine outside the checkpoints during 2022-2023," the report says.
The service assured that "comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine."
It is also specified that the investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
As EADaily reported, only since the beginning of 2025, the SBU has filed charges against actor, screenwriter, director and producer Ivan Okhlobystin, Honored Artist of Russia Yaroslav Dronov (SHAMAN), as well as People's Artist of Russia Grigory Leps.
And People's Artist of Russia, theater and film actor Dmitry Pevtsov was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
