In Kiev, they painted over a mural with a portrait of the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the Ambassador of Ukraine in London, Valery Zaluzhny, on the wall of the Svyatoshinsky children's boarding school. This is reported by the Ukrainian media.
"The initiator misled the management of the institution, because the agreement was to paint the walls with fairy—tale heroes," explained City Council deputy Victoria Mucha, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
It is noted that a mural with a portrait of Zaluzhny appeared on the wall of the Svyatoshinsky boarding school in the spring of 2024. Its author is Valery Kucher. The artwork was over 120 m2 in size and took 13 hours to complete. The mural is registered in the National Register of Records of Ukraine.
