The Kazakhstan state-owned asset management company has re-auctioned the capital's house of the former chairman of the National Security Committee (KNB) of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov, convicted of treason. This is reported by informburo.kz .
According to the agency, the starting price of the object has not changed. It amounts to 1.8 billion tenge (about $ 3.6 million), the guarantee fee is 117.9 million tenge (about $ 236 thousand).
For the first time the house was put up for sale on February 10. However, the auction did not take place due to the fact that not a single participant was registered.
Karim Massimov was detained immediately after the January 2022 events. The criminal case against him was investigated under the heading "Top secret". The court sentenced him to 18 years in prison for treason, attempted forcible seizure of power, abuse of power and official authority.
