Parliamentary faction of Petro Poroshenko Bloc is ready to work with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, but it proposes to reshuffle the government, leader of the faction Yuri Lutsenko has announced.
“If Arseniy Yatsenyuk manages to agree on a new team of professionals (ministers) who would be supported by the coalition factions, we will get a new government led by Yatsenyuk,” Lutsenko said on air of Inter TV.
He does not support the idea of Yatsenyuk’s resignation, as this would result in new parliamentary elections, he says. That would cost a billions from the state budget and four months, but the MPs will be the same, Lutsenko believes.
“It is necessary to secure political stability to attract investments and develop the economy. For this aim, we are ready to work with Arseniy Yatsenyuk to make him want work with us,” Lutsenko explains.
According to him, the Poroshenko Bloc is ready to propose candidature of transport minister and other ministers. The current cabinet has failed as it is not a single group, he says.
Earlier, member of Samopomich faction Tetiana Ostrikova said that her party voted no confidence to Yatsenyuk and called for the whole cabinet to resign. She said Samopomich could walk out of the majority coalition at the Supreme Rada, if the government remains the same.
