On October 26, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had a phone talk with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. The conversation was initiated by the Saudi party, the Kremlin press office informs.
The leaders continued exchanging opinions on a number of issues concerning the Syrian crisis settlement, taking into account the October 23 four-party (Russia, Saudi Arabia, USA and Turkey) foreign ministers’ meeting in Vienna and following contacts in various forms at various levels.
They also discussed the Middle-East settlement. The both parties expressed concern about the continuing worsening of the situation in Israel and Palestine. The King of Saudi Arabia praised Russia’s traditionally active role in promoting peace, the Kremlin press office reports.
